Great to see our friends at the Pickering Museum Village receive such wonderful press from the Toronto Star for their Settler Trail program on Wednesday. Billed as “Experience the winter trail ‘Settler Style’” it included a scavenger hunt, outdoor games for children, cooking over an open fire, and log sawing. It was the two-person log sawing that captured my children’s attention when we went. My remarks to my wife that my youngest son had only one major artery in his leg was even noted in the article, although my name is not George.
